Kenyan Delegation Visits CMEC Group Headquarters in Beijing

A Kenyan delegation is currently in the People's Republic of China attending a Seminar on Youth Leadership in Public Administration, hosted by China's Ministry of Commerce and conducted by Hunan International Business Vocational College.

The 14-day programme brings together public officers and party representatives to explore governance models, poverty alleviation strategies, rural revitalization, and public policy, drawing on China's development experience.

The delegation is led by Mandera Senator Hon. Ali Roba, with PBORA represented by Mercy Soy, Beatrice Odero, and Ezekiel Kuloba.

In this clip, the delegation is received at the China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) Group headquarters in Beijing by the Group's Chairman, Mr. Wang Bao.

CMEC Group is part of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), a state corporation for industrial machinery services.

The site visit forms part of the seminar's practical learning programme.
